Hotel Pizzomunno Vieste Palace, Lungomare Enrico Mattei, Km 1 (https://www.hotelpizzomunno.it/) located close to the city center combines an extraordinary location on the seashores with a strategic position.
Transportation
By car from the north: highway A14, exit Poggio Imperiale, freeway Garganica following indications to Vieste.
By car from the south: highways with exits to Foggia or Candela, continuing in the direction Manfredonia-Vieste.
By train: stations of San Severo or Foggia and bus connections to Vieste.
By airplane: Bari airport "K. Wojtyla" and transportation to Vieste by the Pugliairbus service "Gargano easy to reach" (about 3 h); Foggia airport “G. Lisa” and transportation to Vieste by Flixbus (about 2 h).
Accommodation

Oral presentations and abstract submission Deadline
30th April 2024.
The abstracts, not exceeding one A4 page and with the presenting author name underlined, her/his picture and a graphical abstract should be submitted on-line at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1AkGw0gc59U4iHPQGUGoEgoZSNvP0fL8HARvRYwI0CzM/edit. Please utilize the abstract form/template below. Oral presentations usually last 10 min + 5 min discussion (final info will be provided when all abstracts are received). English will be the official language at the meeting.
Programme
The 2024 Annual Meeting of the Italian Group of Biomembranes and Bioenergetics (GIBB) will take place in Vieste (FG) between 14:00 of Thursday, June 6th and lunchtime or early afternoon of Saturday, June 8th, 2024.
The Conference can be open to an international audience, though not in its international version, and usually attracts a good number of groups active in Bioenergetics.
A unique feature of our meeting is that – except for the invited lectures of 30 minutes – the oral presentations are given by Graduate Students and Post Docs, which makes for a lively and supportive atmosphere. Vieste is a wonderful venue, and the Conference Center is right at the sea shores where also the social events will take place.
